Assalamu Alaikum.
Dear Community Members,
We were grateful to host an ARK Academy information session at the Islamic Educational Center of Orange County earlier this month, where a group of families and community members joined us for a meaningful and informative afternoon. Attendees had the opportunity to hear directly from the ARK Academy team about our program, curriculum, and vision, as well as receive updates on our school facility, enrollment process, and upcoming hiring opportunities. The thoughtful questions made for a productive session, and it was a blessing to connect with those who are interested in being part of building something special in our community.

We are excited to continue the conversation at our next information session this Saturday, April 25 from 2:30 – 4:00 pm at IECOC. Whether you are a family considering enrollment, an educator interested in joining our team, or a community member who wants to learn more and support ARK Academy, we warmly invite you to attend. These sessions are a great way to get your questions answered, meet the team, and gain a deeper understanding of what we are building together. We look forward to welcoming our community and sharing how you can be part of ARK Academy’s journey.

We believe a private school education is an investment in your child’s academic growth and character development, with benefits lasting well beyond the classroom. At ARK Academy, students will be nurtured in a supportive environment that emphasizes strong academics, meaningful relationships, and the development of values that guide them for life.
We also understand that cost can feel like a barrier, and we encourage families not to assume that an ARK Academy education is out of reach. We are committed to partnering with families and offer financial aid to help make this opportunity attainable. Tuition assistance is evaluated by FACTS, a trusted third-party provider, and we are now accepting financial aid applications.
If you are interested in our school, we encourage you to begin by completing the Admissions Inquiry Form to explore what may be possible for your family.

Curriculum Blog
Dr. Sherwin Doroudi, our Islamic Studies Curriculum Designer, has published a new blog post exploring how our curriculum approaches American history. He explains why preparing students to engage in civic life and public discourse—as Muslims—calls for a thoughtful and carefully tailored study of this subject.
In his next post, Dr. Sherwin will turn to how we present the diversity of Muslim communities in America, past and present.
We are excited about what lies ahead and look forward to continuing this journey with you. Thank you for being part of a growing vision to provide a meaningful and impactful education for our children. As we actively recruit and connect with strong candidates, building an exceptional team remains an important part of that vision. If you know someone who may be a strong fit for our team, we would greatly appreciate you connecting them with us.
If you have any questions or just want to connect, please reach out at info@arkacademyoc.org. I look forward to hearing from you!
Blessings,
Jolanda Hendriks
Principal
