Assalamu Alaykum.
Dear Community Members,
As a new academic year is about to begin, we are grateful for the opportunity to offer the Homeschool Enrichment Program. While we are not yet able to open our full-time school, this program allows us to provide a meaningful educational experience for children in our community during the coming school year.
We are especially happy to offer children a structured Islamic program and community twice a week—a high-quality environment for Qur’an, Arabic, integrated Islamic Studies, and academic growth, while serving as a weekly anchor for families who homeschool. Below, you will find information about our upcoming information session, taking place before the first day of the Homeschool Enrichment Program.
At the same time, we continue to make steady, if gradual, progress with the City of Irvine toward approval of our building plans. We remain committed to this long-term vision and are grateful for the continued support and patience of our community as we work through the process.
Best regards,
Jolanda Hendriks
Principal

Info & Welcome Session
We warmly invite the community to our Homeschool Program Information & Welcome Session on Sunday, August 23 at 5:00 PM at the Islamic Educational Center of Orange County.
Whether you have already enrolled your child or are still exploring your options, join us to learn more about the program, get a glimpse of a typical day, and have your questions answered about schedule options, enrollment, and flexible tuition options.
Homeschool Program Library
Last year, we launched our Amazon Wishlist to help grow our school library—and we are grateful for the many book donations we have received.
While we have been building the library for our full-time school, we are grateful that it will already serve a meaningful purpose this year. Our collection will be temporarily housed at IECOC, where students will be able to enjoy the books as part of the Homeschool Enrichment Program.
To help us build our library and inspire young minds, please consider gifting a book from our wishlist.

ARK Curriculum Blog
We are equally grateful that our integrated curriculum will be taught through the Homeschool Enrichment Program, while our Islamic Studies Curriculum Designer continues developing the curriculum for our full-time school.
In our latest blog post, Dr. Sherwin Doroudi explores how our coverage of history starting in fourth grade spotlights the contributions of Muslims and the role Islam has played in shaping American history.
