Dear Community Members,
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, November 15, for the ARK Academy fundraising dinner in support of the construction of our new school building. Your presence, encouragement, and generous donations mean so much. We are also grateful to those who contributed even if they could not attend.
The evening brought together more than one hundred passionate community members, along with the dedicated ARK Academy team, all united by a belief in the power of education. We opened with Qur’an recitations and welcoming remarks from our Founder and Spiritual Leader, Dr. Sayed Moustafa Al-Qazwini.
Attendees were also given a preview of the future ARK Academy building through a rendering presented by our architect, Brother Ali Jaber. The design reflects a beautiful, thoughtful space that will foster learning, belonging, and growth.
One of our board members and Chair of the Academic Excellence Committee, Dr. Sayed Shayan Doroudi, also shared updates on our uniquely integrated curriculum. To date, more than 170 Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade lessons have been developed by Dr. Sayed Sherwin Doroudi, under the supervision of Dr. Sayed Hadi Qazwini. These lessons integrate Islamic Studies with Science, Social Studies, Art, and Language Arts.
We are excited to share that the event raised $1.2 million, bringing ARK Academy within $400,000 of fully funding the construction needed to open in August 2026. This progress reflects the generosity, trust, and unwavering support of those who champion ARK Academy’s mission.
