Dear Community Members,
As previously shared, ARK Academy has received approval from the City of Irvine Planning Commission for our Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application. With the appeal period now closed and no appeals filed, the approval is final, Alhamdulillah.
Our architectural and engineering team, praised by the Planning Commission for their innovative sound mitigation design, is finalizing the building plans for submission to the City. We are especially proud that our architect, engineers, general contractor, and interior designer are all members of our local community. Their dedication and talent are driving this project forward, and we look forward to introducing some of them on our Instagram in the coming months.
Meanwhile, our Academic Excellence Committee and Islamic Studies Curriculum Committee are hard at work shaping the foundation of our educational program. You can support their efforts by contributing through the ARK Academy Amazon Wishlist. New titles are added regularly as we continue building our curriculum for Preschool, Kindergarten, and Elementary grades.

This new blog post concludes our overview of the key elements that set the ARK curriculum apart. We highlight our commitment to presenting Islamic Studies not as an add-on, but as a core discipline with academic rigor that fosters reflection, spiritual growth, and a broad, meaningful engagement with the tradition.
With our Conditional Use Permit officially approved, we’re thrilled to take the next steps toward building our future campus. Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised a significant portion of the funds needed for construction. In the coming months, we will be focusing on raising the remaining amount to bring the vision to life. Your continued support will help make this long-awaited project a reality.
