Dear Community Members,
Alhamdulillah, by the Grace of God and with your steadfast support, we are pleased to share that ARK Academy has received approval from the City of Irvine Planning Commission for our Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application!
As part of the standard process, a 15-calendar-day appeal period has begun due to a public comment submitted by a neighboring business regarding parking. If an appeal is formally filed during this period, we will inform you. Otherwise, we look forward to announcing the official approval by October 3rd, 2025, insha’Allah.
This milestone marks a major step forward in our journey that began in October 2023. At the public hearing, the Planning Commission commended our incredible architectural and engineering team for their creative approach to the sound mitigation. In addition, we were commended for our planning and educational approach.
We will now proceed with submitting our building plans to the City for review and approval.
