Dear Community Members,
On behalf of the ARK Academy Board of Directors, Executive Committee, staff, and our dedicated volunteers, we extend our heartfelt prayers and well wishes to you and your family. We hope that you had a spiritually uplifting and blessed month of Ramadan.
We would like to share that our team is making significant progress with the City of Irvine toward obtaining the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) required to begin full-time instruction at ARK Academy. This is a complex and lengthy process, and while we have made substantial headway, it is unlikely that we will receive the CUP in time to begin full operations by Fall 2025.
We are actively working to launch our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs as soon as possible and remain focused on a full opening in Fall 2026. We appreciate the ongoing support of the community and will continue to share updates as we move forward.
While we work toward our long-term goals, we continue to find joy and purpose in the vibrant weekend life of ARK Academy. Our programs beautifully reflect our community’s deep commitment to Islamic learning. It has been heartwarming to witness the connections being formed in this space we are building together.
Monthly Youth Quran Discussion
The next Monthly Youth Qur’an Discussion is taking place on Saturday, April 19th at 8 PM at ARK Academy.
We invite the youth to come together to worship, learn, and engage in meaningful discussions about their faith under the leadership of Seyed Mahdi Qazwini.
Weekend School
The Saturday and Sunday School students participated in special activities during the month of Ramadan and are now back to their regular class schedules.
While we are not enrolling any new students during these last two months of the school year, we are looking forward to opening registration in July for the new year.

SMC Eid Picnic
Join us at the Shia Muslim Council Eid Picnic on Saturday, April 12th at William R. Mason Regional Park.
